Foodbar 63 Graden is quite a cycle from my place, but it is worth it! It might be a good thing that it is not that close, or I would be there all the time.
Foodbar 63 Graden opened its doors two years ago and has been super successful ever since. It used to be an old run-down neighborhood bar until Klaartje and Tjo-kwan got their hands on it. They did everything themselves and changed it into an attractive warm space, industrial but cozy with lots of funny details and changing art exhibitions.
The menu is Italian inspired and changes every month. Even though it is not overly extensive my friends and I still had a hard time choosing between the antipasti, risotto, salad, pasta, mussels, salmon, and chicken so we decided to have it all. This was a good decision. Everything was fresh, healthy, delicious and beautifully made up. Luckily we had just about enough space left for a range of desserts with the homemade white chocolate pistachio cake as an absolute highlight.
I should also mention the Negroni and G&Ts which I haven’t tried yet but which look amazing.
