Waterkant – Tropical vibes

I long awaited the opening of Waterkant and luckily it opened its doors just in time for a very good summer almost two years ago! The opening party lasted a complete weekend and made quite an impression on me as there was a lot of free tasty food, a tropical and relaxed vibe, and loads of great people.

While creating Waterkant the owners let themselves be inspired by Surinam, this worked out really well. Can’t go wrong with some roti and a Parbo beer! But these aren’t the only things you should try, what about some ginger beer or perhaps orgeade? The gigantic terrace at the water is a great place for sun lovers like me but even when the weather isn’t as good there is still a lot here to enjoy (a lot of good parties like for instance R&B karaoke, lots of fun!).

Waterkant is a temporary hot-spot and it’s uncertain till when it will stay open. Let’s enjoy it while it lasts.
