In a small alley next to the St Vincentius Hospital you can find this quiet and cosy day time lunch-bar. It’s quite new but that doesn’t change its charm.
The interior feels warm and cosy. The food is homemade with care and you just take it out of the counter and pay at the counter.
A very down to earth place and ideal for a relaxed lunch or just to read your newspaper during lunch.

Niko, Looks inviting. I have been planning to visit Antwerp for ages. it is not that far from where I live (Eindhoven) but the train connection is awkward and I have no car.
Hi Marianne,
getting to Antwerp by train isn’t very complex.
It might even be handy to bring your bike with you (or rent one in Antwerp somewhere) That’s a greta way to discover the city on it’s full span.
just for the sake of orientation, sint-vincentiusstraat is not exactly the Zurenborg neighbourhood, still 15 minutes on foot.
Hi Marc,
you’re right but we only have a few area’s to pick out in locations. This was the nearest.
Greets
Niko
Where else in Antwerp can you get a delicious brownie (or blondie) with a good glass of milk??? Or an exquisite latte with a bagel with lox and cream cheese.
It doesn’t matter where you come from 22B is the place to be. I fell in love with it, the day it opened and I am not the only one, just read the guest book when you come by.
When you visit Antwerp you should take the occasion to go to 22b. You will be welcomed by the charming hostess in a trendy but cosy place. Try it out for breakfast, lunch or an early dinner! It is also a great place to relax any time of the day and to enjoy one of the many varieties of coffee or tea and a homemade brownie.
