Lekker Antwerpen
First and foremost a food blog, Lekker Antwerpen (in Dutch – translation here) is a blog that’s run by local food enthusiasts. They like to keep you up-to-date on where to eat within the city of Antwerp. While the blog mainly posts about new, classic, and interesting restaurants, they also offer what they refer to as a ‘culinary walk’. You can join them on a tour through some of the best places to eat in the ‘cake city’. Local cuisine from an insider’s perspective is never a bad idea.
The Word Magazine
Combining print and online, The Word Magazine is a great way to stay in touch with what’s happening in the Belgian cultural scene. They offer tips on Antwerp and focus mainly on “Neighborhood life, art, and music made in Belgium”. You can also buy their bi-monthly printed magazine and listen to their radio station. All in all a perfect overview of all things cultural happening in Belgium and Antwerp.
