Just a little bit outside of Antwerp, 10 minutes by metro, you can find this little park. This park is very well maintained and has lots of activities inside. There is a free swimming lake, a volleyball field, a tennis field, … and most of all it’s just nice to walk there and escape from the busy city for a while. There is also a small natural historic museum inside. (€ 1.00 entrance fee) Details about this spot (Show on map)

Hi Malin,
glad you liked it!
The maximum number of swimmers is indeed a bit a downer sometimes, but in fact that’s what makes it also great…
Go early, that’s the tip/trick!
have fun!
I went there yesterday and I really agree, it is very nice.
I wanted to swim in the natural swimmingpool/lake (no chlore, cleaning by plants) but as the weather was nice, hot and sunny, the pool was plenty and I didn’t have the time to wait to get inside. As it is cleaned by natural way there is a maximum number of people who can be in it at the same time.
Anyway, I will absolutely go there again, the water looks sooo nice, clear and a turquoise colour!
