Had dinner with 4 here on Sat 31 Mar 12 and it was not a good experience at all. It took at least 30 minutes after we had sat down before any drinks were served. When we wanted to order, at least 4 dishes were no longer available. When ordering a 2nd bottle of wine, that wine was no longer available. We ordered a different wine, which was poured into our old glasses. The wine was not chilled enough and not kept in a cooler at our table. The second course took 30 minutes to arrive. We skipped dessert and coffees. The Italian man was offended that we were complaining. The food was all right, though. It is impossible to run a restaurant this size with just this one man serving. I for one will not go back here.

I spent a recent weekend in Antwerp,
and was extremely impressed by the Railway
Station. It’s layout, though compact, was very
impressive with a Bar area hosting an
orchestra. A very convenient location with easy
access to the Mier, and centre of the city.
January is a quiet month with few events, but
you will have the entire city at your feet.
will definately return.

We enjoyed Haute Friture today. The folks there were friendly and, most importantly, the ”Belgian Fries“ were delicious. – But, for your information, inflation didn’t spare fries and the small/medium/large sized box of fries now costs 2,-/2,40/3,- €.

Terrible and lazy service, not friendly at all, specially for foreigners. It is really a pity since the products are OK (not really good prices tho, but still OK).

Lousy food, dirty tables, arrogant staf. Such a bad experience, never again.

This place was absolutely lovely! Food was divine, especially pasta with black truffles which were shaved in front of our eyes…. I loved the ambience, very friendly and charming service. The best dining experience in Antwerp this far
