Starfish & coffee is owned by Katja, a friend of mine. She designed the place in a way that it feels like coming home. You can have all kinds of coffees, tea’s and homemade Iced Tea’s. And you really have to try the homemade Ginger tea (cold and hot)! It’s an energy boost you have never experienced before! Katja also makes fresh soup, cakes and muffins everyday and they are soooo good! Starfish & coffee is the ideal place to drink a coffee and just enjoy the atmosphere and the relaxing environment… My coffee favorite is Creme Caramel, a latte with caramel! Katja is very friendly. Very cosy coffee house, with lots of magazines. Just perfect for a lazy afternoon. My favorite coffee : Monsieur Jacques!!
She’s right, Starfish pies are delicious! Though I’m normally not such a pie lover, I always have to have a piece.
I also love Katja’s home made ginger lemonade. As I live just two doors down, for me, it’s the perfect wake-up drink to go.
