Cinco is one of these places that, with its colourful atmosphere, has the capability to make your day prettier! Despite the fact that it’s located in an area with lots of high-profile places, this cafe-bar manages to create a really friendly atmosphere, escaping the typical, impersonal Kolonaki cafe-bar.
Featuring an amazing, ceiling-high bar, with a nice arrangement of tables, that allows you to sit relaxed without feeling cramped, Cinco would be my ideal choice for a quick coffee during my lunch break, along with a nice baguette! Cinco does offer a big variety of plates as well, so feel free to look at the menu and get something more than the plain sandwich!
Coffee is also really nice and in one case that I remember, it came with some really nice chocolate candy, differentiating Cinco from the other places that bring you nothing with your coffee! Prices are a bit high, but that should be expected due to the area. Music is played softly early in the day and as the night approaches it becomes significantly louder, giving the place a “clubby” atmosphere!
If you find yourselves there, ask the bartender to recommend a cocktail! The prices are not the lowest you will find, but for this area they are good and the quality of the cocktails definitely makes up for the price.
