When I enter a “kafeneio” (let’s say this is what we call a traditional Greek restaurant) and I hear Dimitris Mitropanos, I know it’s going to be my place!
I moved to the hyped neighbourhood of Koukaki a few months ago and realised that my new neighborhood is full of gastronomy and places to enjoy food — but we had to search for the best one! And we did find it: it’s Koutoukaki!
Κoutoukaki is the ultimate place to enjoy “mamadistiko fagito” — this is how we call the food that Greek mothers cook for their families.
It’s not fancy or modern at all — it’s just typical Greek gastronomy that comes from the past. French fries, omelette, meat balls, many different kinds of fish, and if you are a vegetarian please ask for their vegetarian platter. You are going to love all its ingredients that are fresh and really well cooked.
Mrs Giota and Mrs Toula are there waiting to cook for you!
