About me
I first came to live in Athens when I was 25. Until then I had spent all my years in University in Austria and had grown up in a little city in the south of Greece called Nafplio. Athens seemed enormous, ugly, loud and I always used to get headache when I visited friends during holidays. But still it attracted me in its own peculiar way.
So here I am now 5 years later, enjoying Athens in its peculiar, loud, ugly and funny ways. If you ever doubt about the beauty of Athens, I will doubt with you but then I will show you some spotted places and you might change your mind!
Why Athens:
- Because it is Athens. And yes this sentence has no meaning but still it includes all the above. Can’t change it, can’t love it, but you still like it.
- Because every few months you really discover something totally new.
- Because its fun and even more fun listening to all the Greeks complaining about Greece and Athens in particular but without any prospect of changing anything at all!
