A couple of days ago, I was meeting a friend in Petralona, near Thissio, and he suggested that we visit a different place than the standard cafe where we’d always meet. I was not that confident about his proposal in the first place, but when we reached Mr. Who and went inside, I immediately changed my mind!
Mr. Who is a cafe-bar, hidden inside an amazing house, a typical specimen of the 1960-1970 Greek architecture. Divided in small rooms with wooden floors mainly but also with an amazing paved entrance with traditional small painted tiles! I loved the antique tables and chairs and also the little vintage radio that I found in a corner! I would like to see some more decorations inside the place to make it more homey, but still, it’s an amazing place!
The coffee was delicious and the extra that caught my eye, was the small yard on the one side of the building that is amazing for relaxed coffees, beers and cocktails during the summer! It’s ideal if you want to relax with a small group of friends, and it can be easily combined with a walk around Thissio. Although it’s a bit far from all the crowded cafes in Thissio, it’s definitely worth the search!
