Most of the travellers coming to Athens visit -besides the Acropolis and its museum – the National Museum located at Patision street. It’s the biggest museum of Greece and one of the most important around Europe.
I love losing myself among its ancient statues. History and Beauty is spread out all over the place. At National museum can find one of the most important exhibitions of Greek history. My favorite one is the is “mechanism of Antikythira”.
After hours of wandering through the past, there is a secret waiting for you. At the basement of the museum there is a secret cafe / garden where you can take a break among its trees. Let’s have a cup of tea during winter time next to the Deus statue!
