After a long day you sit down on a terrace. The waiter puts a plate of delicious tapas on your table and opens a bottle of white wine. The sun is setting, leaving a golden glow on everybody while you still enjoy the comfortable temperature at night. A trumpet player walks on by and meets with a guitarist friend. They decide to play some jazzy combo to earn some tips from the people on the square. And while you listen to the summery tones of that trumpet, you feel like you never want to leave again…
Sounds good, right? This is how I like to spend my nights after a long day. If you agree, then have a seat on the terrace of Alsur Cafe for a drink or a bite to eat. The terrace is based on a lively square in Born, that always offers a stage to many street musicians. It never stays quiet for long, and I love the different ambiance each artist manages to set. Most of them put a smile on my face with their music!
The majority chooses to play at night, but if you rather enjoy the above scenery during a indulging brunch, you might be just as lucky. Alsur offers a wide menu of tapas, brunch, sandwiches and sweet pastry. You could also just sit down for a drink, but trust me; when you see the food on the table of your neighbours you’ll be asking for the menu!
