Isn’t this a perfect example of a hidden gem in Barcelona! Located close to the Plaza Francesc Macia, it’s easy to walk right past this brasserie and miss it, as it’s surrounded by residential buildings and since its recent opening, practically only visited by locals.
It’s currently considered by many in Barcelona as one of the city’s best priced, most glamorous spots to have a meal or drinks. The restaurant’s interior decoration is breathtaking, a mix of mosaics, mirrors and rustic chandeliers. Specialized in poultry, which you can see roasting as soon as you enter the restaurant, I recommend ordering their small herb-chicken, which they deliver whole. At € 14, you can accompany it with a couple of sides (about € 3 each), and have a delicious meal in a stunning location for less than € 25 per person.
Added to this, the fact that you can move to the back garden terrace to have your coffee or dessert makes this a very special place to experience a lovely meal.
