Hello all

Bill, your link doesnt work mate.

I like the bar and I go there quite often. In my litle experience as a plain customer the people working there just do their job, but they are human after all and might have their flaws.

It’s a pitty that they spoiled the evening to David and those catalans they were shouting at just because they had a bad day.

Each head is a different world, and it doesnt matter what are others believes as long as each one occupies their space without invading the one beside.

Now that this polemic dithyramb arised, I wont go there just to drink and share the mood with whoever I go with, but will keep an eye in the surroundings to see whats going on, before setting this article offline.

Im sorry for the bitter moments they might have caused.

Dear readers of spotted by locals:
The information posted above by ‘David’ IS COMPLETELY FALSE.
Me, myself, I worked in Casa Almirall several years and I can guarantee that Casa Almirall is a place free of fascist issues. It is a very nice modernist bar. Very well conserved by the owners. With nice music and nice atmosphere.I have never seen something like that with any of my mates. It doesn’t make any sense. ‘David’ is someone that wants to make bad things and he is brilliant with his lack of imagination.

Yes they are really good, nice and friendly.
The differences is that it’s a family business run by father and son.

Absolutely the best falafel and shawarma in Barcelona! It can get quite busy, but it’s worth the wait. In a different league than most fast food falafel joints.

I can get behind El Glop for sure! Great fun, especially for a calçotada . And afterwards if you’re at the one in Gràcia I like to have a post-Glop vermouth (vermut) at Bodega Manolo. Quite possibly the best vermut in Barcelona: http://www.bcnmes.com/shortlist/bodega-manolo/
