A Japanese friend once told me that this is her favorite Japanese restaurant in Barcelona. One meal there and it’s been my go-to Japanese restaurant ever since!
I recommend going during lunch, where they serve the same delicious food they serve at dinner-time but at more reasonable prices (they have 5 different lunch-time set menus, priced anywhere from € 10 – € 15). They include a range of 4 to 6 dishes per menu, all prepared by the Japanese chef (and co-owner of the place) in the open kitchen besides the dining tables. If you like udon noodles, don’t miss their yakiudon dish, the tastiest clam, tuna, vegetable and shiitake noodles I have ever tried!
Little tip: make sure to book a table in advance or get there right when it opens, their lunch-time menu is a favorite for everyone working around the neighborhood and the relatively small restaurant becomes very full very fast.
