The Collserola Natural Park is a green paradise at just a stone’s throw away from the urban Barcelona.
Guided by two Belgians, you can enjoy walking tours there that guarantee you fantastic panoramas of the city and modernist and medieval architecture in the green surroundings of the Tibidabo mountain.
It is ideal to get acquainted with Barcelona or an original ending to your visit from a bird’s perspective.
Woody Allen found this part of Barcelona so inspiring that he recorded a large part of his film “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” there.

great pictures, sonja!
I also explored Collserola by myself but two times I got lost already and that is why I thought it was a great idea to get a guided tour with people who know the territory and the history of the area as well.
My favourite spot is Villa Juana, the Verdaguer museum. It is a beautiful place near by the Information center.
Collserola Park is indeed a great place to visit whenever you are in Barcelona. Good recommendation!
It can be explored on our own as well.
If you like to do so first go to the Information Center and ask for a map. It is also a good idea to ask for a recommended route.
If you like biking it is a perfect place to go for a ride.
My favorite spot is the Collserola Tower. A communication tower built for the 1992 Olympics Game. Visitor can go up to the tower for a great view on the city and the surrounding area.
What is your favorite spot in the park, Sonja?
