Together with my wife Sanne, I founded Spotted by Locals in 2008.

I have been fortunate to be able to live in, and travel to quite a lot of places. I have a crush on many of the 35 major European cities I visited in 2008 and 2009, but I  still love Amsterdam, where I live and wake up most of the time, the most!

Making people experience cities like a local,  is our mission. I also think we can make a modest contribution in making this world a better place. In my opinion, understanding other cultures is the key to peace and prosperity!

Before Spotted by Locals I was a management consultant at Magnus, and a senior projectmanager / consultant Internet communities at KREM.
