I’m not really a fan of malls and shopping in general (and that’s a mild way to say it). But Bazar is a shopping place in my neighborhood that actually makes shopping bearable. It reminds me of some mini-malls in my hometown, and it serves for shopping only. And the best thing is – it’s hiding in a less-known hall of the Belgrade Fair (hall 11).
Bazar’s been there since forever, but it’s changed the size and halls where it’s situated. There you can’t find bars, fast food restaurants, playrooms and stuff like that. Just stores with shoes, clothes, and toys, and people who are there to buy what they need. That’s my kind of a “mall.”
Although Bazar is smaller than, for example, Ušće – there is a large choice of clothes and footwear for all ages and genders. And what’s also great and I’d say quite important – the prices are insanely affordable in most of the stores, way cheaper than in mainstream shopping malls.
So, Bazar is easy to find, it’s cheap, and there are not too many people to bump into wherever I go. What else could I wish for when I go shopping?
