Familija bistro – Calm days, exciting nights

At the beginning of Skadarlija, Familija bistro is one of the places that, although very new in comparison to all the old traditional taverns and restaurants, became very popular very quickly.

The small interior is bright and cosy, the walls lined up with family photos with descriptions (like in those old photo albums), and lamps, books and wallpaper in animal/floral print make it unusual and inviting. As the spring has already started picking up speed, the small front garden is slowly turning into the main gathering area.

And nights… they host several excellent bands with very varied pop and rock repertoire. The space is small (reservations are necessary!!) but hardly does it bother anyone – people sing at the top of their lungs and dance (almost) until they drop!
