I was amazed when I saw an abandoned alleyway turned into this amazing restaurant. If you are looking for traditional Serbian food this is not a place for you. This is actually a brand from England and, apart from the UK, the only restaurant they have is this one in center of Belgrade. I think they placed it very well because just around the corner is a beautiful National Theatre.
The interior is amazing, well detailed and overall stunning. There are a few regular tables in the middle but the theatre like balconies are the main attraction of this restaurant. In my opinion it’s perfect for couples, you can have absolute privacy. Thick red curtains on the balcony can be lowered and you will not be disturbed. If you need your waiter to come, all you need to do is pull the rope and they will get the signal.
Now when you’ve absorbed the beauty of the interior it’s time to absorb some food. Although not traditional Serbian food it’s very tasty none the less. My recommendation for the main course is Grilled chicken with a tart blue cheese, pear and hazelnuts and a glass of white wine. Dinner for two is about € 25 – € 30, but be careful. If you order a bottle of wine the price can go up a bit.
I can assure you that this will be a special experience, especially if you go there when live music is playing.
