Park Gazela is a place where I’d never say I’d find a park. It’s near Mostarska petlja (Mostar Loop), the largest traffic loop in Belgrade – and the most confusing one. It’s really difficult for the newcomers to find their way around that traffic loop, so it’s good to have a park nearby to clear your mind before you try again. : )
Joke aside, it’s a very charming neighborhood park, with a small playground for children, a miniature square, a basketball court, and there’s even a dog park nearby. It’s on my way to the center, so I often spend some time there on my way home, to rest my feet. I also call it “a park for making decisions,” because my boyfriend and I take a bench in this park on our way to the center, when we need to think where we’ll go. All in all, it’s one of the many parks in Belgrade, and I love it because, since I moved to this neighborhood, it became “my park.”
