Relax and Stutter – Art on the floor

Micro art. Well, this isn’t quite micro. It is a bit bigger than that. But it is smaller than our usual expectations of art.

And it is in a place where we do not expect it, either. On the ground. We walk over it every day, not noticing it. Mini shafts with engravings on them.

They’re right there on Terazije street, in front of the Deichmann store. Well, at least one of them.

It is the work of Miloš Tomić, a film director and one of those people who do so many things in life (and are good at it) that make you feel bad about yourself.

Conveniently placed when they were putting a new layer of concrete in this street, these little signs (three of them here) have three completely random sentences on them:

Opusti se i mucaj / Relax and stutter

Pitam se, pitam gde je kraj kosmosa / I wonder, I wonder where does the cosmos end

And I think it’s only fair you go there and find what the third one is.
