Svetlost Bar – Let There Be Light

“Svetlost” (or “Light”) is a small and vivid bar housed on a basement level right next to the nicest small square in the city (corner of Milutina Bojica and Palmoticeva streets). Even if you skip to go to the bar, I’d recommend a stroll through this quarter.

In the summer it’s a café and a standing venue around the tables outside. During the winter, it’s hidden and gets easily transformed from the afternoon cafe to a bar with live DJ tunes from electro, new wave, nu disco to indie-pop or house. The ambient is dark with hanging light bulbs and red color dominating. And Fridays and Saturdays can be quite crowded.

A refreshing place, full of great city people. And I’m exited to say: “Are we going to the Light?”.
