I’ve talked (and written) about murals, but there are also some other forms of street art that should not be neglected in Belgrade. The best place to see various examples and different artists works of this is the back side (the wall), of the building which the Faculties of Mathematics and Chemistry is located in, just right in the center of the city!
And it’s a big (long) wall, I will tell you that. And the best part is that it’s not a permanent exhibition, it changes constantly. Something you saw today perhaps won’t be there in a month but something else, equally or less interesting, will have taken its place. From ‘Homophobia is gay’, ‘I want to show you Belgrade’ to ‘Les Fleurs du mal’ and tinker bells in a jar.
They painted everything over a few weeks back but you can still see some of the old pieces and new ones are just appearing out of nowhere.
Such a wall.
