I’m a big fan of turning rubbish into something useful, but sadly I don’t possess the magic hands to achieve this very often. So I not only depend on other people to do some magic, but also to sell it. That’s why I like this shop. This is where you go when you want something particularly cool made from all those materials that we don’t even know we waste – a small upcycling paradise.
It all comes down to this: taking old tires, seatbelts, bottle caps, coffee sacks, drums, used binders, license plates, metal pipes, bicycle chains, unused spoons, tyre tubes and more, and turning them into something useful and unique that doesn’t really resemble the original purpose. This little shop promotes sustainability, fair trade and a lot of creativity. It’s a wonderful alternative to mainstream fashion with a little added durability and, best of all, a bit of support for small family businesses around the world with every purchase.
You’ll have to visit the shop to find out what the materials have been used for. Don’t let me ruin the surprise. Have a look around, chat with the owners and maybe have a cup of coffee. It’s nice in there. I’m sure you’ll find more than a few things that will make you wish you had come up with it yourself.
