Once one enters a second hand you never know what you are going to get. It’s a matter of patience, luck and good eyes. Garage is a spacious basement, divided among clothes with individual prices (two corners for women and men and accessories) and clothes sold by kilogram.
While some second hand shops in Berlin started charging prices similar to shops selling new clothes, Garage managed to hold on to its second hand prices especially in the ‘kilogram section’.
Tip: Happy hour on Wednesday, between 11:00 and 13:00 o’ clock: the kilogram price goes down 30%.

when does the shop open in August? does the shop close for holidays?
Dear Sara, the shop stays open from all I know and the opening hours are Mo-Fr: 11-19 and Sa 11-18. Hope you’ll find what you’re looking for there
Dear Esther, one can’t find much of garniture there unfortunately. But they do have quite a lot of accessories.
Do they have only clothes or other things like garniture too?
Dear Alice, one can’t sell them clothes. If you are interested in getting rid of some of yours, have a look at the Mauerpark for a stand. There is some kind of a reservation required and a price to be paid, but if you get together with a couple of friends it might be not just affordable, but also a fun Sunday morning, afternoon.
Do you know if they buy used clothes or just collect them for free…?
