About me
Student of physics, traveler, couchsurfer, culture appreciator, romanticist, typical European, German and Berliner. I traveled for one year through Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. I returned, started to study but still felt full of energy. Next to other projects, I put some of that energy into writing for this website. I found the probably best way for me to show the world my beloved city.
Why I love Berlin
“Berlin was, is and will always be in process of becoming. It has never been and will never be finished.” On one hand, growing up here meant for me growing up in an eternal construction site and in dog shit
But on the other hand, I began to understand a few years ago what a privilege it is to live here: Berlin is so diverse, alternative, full of life, cheap, unfinished and unbelievably creative.
People who visit me or have visited Berlin keep telling me how much they love this city. That makes me proud. Not to mention Berlin’s role in world history (negative and positive)…
