Sixtytwo hotel is engaged in a number of eco-friendly efforts in sustaining the environment and to also make its services one of the best in Barcelona. They optimise energy consumption by regulating it with temperature controls an other smart controls. The water uses water pressure reducers to allow them to limit the water consumption in the hotel, and all materials used in their services and facilities are recycled, namely glass, paper, cardboard, organic materials.

Aside from food their bathroom products (creams and shampoos), linen, towels and textiles, wooden keycards and business cards, paper, toilet paper, napkins, cleaning products and candles are also organic.

They were the first hotel to receive the European Ecolabel to reward their effort in using completely renewable energy as a source of power, eco-friendly detergents and are 100% carbon neutral. The breakfast that is served is also purely organic and fair trade produced. Produced waste is also sorted and wholly recycled.
The main focus of the hotel’s sustainable efforts are using LED efficient lamps, recycling of materials as their beds are also made from recycled denim, organic lambswool and coconut fibre and the usage of solar panels as a source of power. They also offer 10 recycled bikes for guests to borrow for a tour of their own in London where they work together with Bikeworks! This brand also has an active branch in Amsterdam.
Another luxuriously designed hotel, this one is also focused on sustainability of the environment. They use local organic food, on the rooftop they provide a garden that caters to a colony of bees, they partake in on-site composting and also use 100% wind energy power via renewable energy certificates.
A 17th Century palace, this hotel has been renovated to emphasize the quality of its elegance, beauty and refinement. They are recognized by Ecoworld hotel as an environmentally friendly hotel due to their usage of power sources and also on their efforts in utilizing materials that are mainly eco-friendly and also recyclable.
A hotel known for its innovativeness in designing their hotel rooms in such a way as to reduce energy usage. They have made their own green policy where they aim to reduce their CO2 emission by using low-impact generators that result in less power consumption with the use of low-energy LED lights and high-efficiency heating systems.
