Last week, we were lucky enough to spend 4 days in the beautiful capital of Scotland – Edinburgh.
“Before Spotted by Locals” Sundays on a citytrip were always a bit difficult. Many shops and places are closed, and it was difficult to find out what’s open, and what’s not. As all Spotters include opening days & times, and keep this up-to-date, it’s very easy to make a nice schedule.
And there’s lots to do in Edinburgh on a Sunday! We had one of the busiest but best Sundays in a city ever. We started with a walk to the Arthur’s seat mountain early in the morning, had coffee at this farmer’s market and visited lots more coffee places (like the super-hip Artisan Roast) and bars.
On our last night in Edinburgh, Monday, we met our Spotters Anson, Janice (soon to be introduced!), Sophie and Stu in a fantastic new Edinburgh hotspot: beer garden Cumberland. Yes, a beer garden – outside and in the sun! (who said it always rains in Edinburgh?).
