Hello city enthusiasts, I’m looking forward to exploring the urban condition with you. I love cities, their complexity, possibilities, fashion, beauty, history, politics and harbors of culture and trade. A city is like a little universe, and some may argue that the city has more influence than a nation state.
I am an American growing into a world citizen and have lived in New York both upstate and sexy Manhattan, Raleigh, Manchester, Brussels, Helsinki, Rotterdam and my happy home for the last 8 years: Amsterdam.
Urbanism
My background is a mix of influences like an urban environment. I have degrees in Economics, Literary Theory, European Urban Cultures, Styling and over a decade of professional photography. I came to Europe permanently in 1997 and it was for the city life.
For the last three years I have my own urban communications company called PortalToYourDreams based in Amsterdam.
