I love this series of guides because they are written by a group of young locals in each city and are updated regularly.
I was mainly convinced about the quality by reading the guide to my own city (Brussels) and felt that it was exactly the kind of places I’d show my out of town visitors.

I love Spotted by Locals. Not only great for new cities to explore, but also to find new addresses in the city I live in.
Searching and finding on the app can be improved, e.g. possibility to browse through pictures of places and short description in stead of seeing a list or points on the map only.

I’ve recently moved to London and was so happy to find this guide to the city’s best spots. This is better than a guidebook and so much easier to use! The App has helped me to discover great places that I never would have known about otherwise and I’m using it now as a list of places to check out in my spare time. I’ll download the other city guides for the other cities around Europe – they’ll be invaluable resources on my upcoming trips. Well worth the price, I love getting tips directly from locals and the interactive map makes this App super easy to use, even offline! Definitely recommend it for traveling or just discovering your own city!

Good app, fair price: there’ll be always free updates. The guide is written by locals so you can find hidden places which other guides may not include. Plus it works offline so no matter where are you from and which data plan do you have: you don’t need one. Plus there’s the gps localization of each spot on the map so you always know how long is to get to that tiny little restaurant downtown, and you can always open maps to get direction to the exact spot.
A must have!!!

In other apps you see the same stuff, this app is different… I’m coming to budapest every year since 1986 and I know the common stuff and a lot of local tips. This is the first touristic guide which mentions the “chinese market”!! Also the restaurant tips are real and not because the restaurant paid to be in the guide!!
If you have plans to go to Budapest you have to download this app!!!
