This week’s spotter in the spotlight is Kasia Boni from Warsaw!
Kasia has been writing about her favorite Warsaw spots since January of 2013. Having spent most of her life in Warsaw Kasia has also been traveling a lot and sharing her experiences with others. However, as much as she enjoys discovering other countries and continents she takes equal if not more pleasure in exploring all the hidden gems of Warsaw and trying to find that one cafe that will outshine the many other amazing ones that Warsaw has.
Kasia really loves Warsaw because apart from it being a bustling city it also offers a lot of spaces in untouched nature for you to relax. Although, as she mentions, it will probably take you some time until you see the beauty of the city, the more you discover it the more you will fall in love with it.
A small selection of Kasia’s favorite spots:
If you want to go on a small trip to Paris while you’re in Warsaw then this bakery is the spot you should visit. You will love the place even before entering it since the smell of freshly baked croissants and bread will make your stomach growl.
On top of the delicious pastries they serve they also have the typical Parisian-style tables outside where you can enjoy your coffee while watching the street life of the city.
Initially having served as a summer residence for the Polish king this park obviously holds great historic value. In addition, it is one of the most loved parks among locals as you come across various statues while walking around and you can also enjoy the gorgeous view of the city from here.
Visiting this park is enjoyable during every period of the year as you can witness what the rich nature has to offer here with each season.
Following the trend of promoting organic and healthy eating, as most cities do, there have been a lot of vegan cafes and restaurants popping up in Warsaw in the previous years. What makes this spot really special is that it’s succeeded in replacing meat, cream and other food with vegan options while keeping almost the very taste that the traditional Polish dishes have.
Thus, Lokal Vegan Bistro is the perfect place to dine if healthy and cheap food is what you are looking for.
The most delicious coffee in Warsaw, according to our Spotter, can be found exactly in this coffee-house. Coffee fans will certainly appreciate the diverse and high quality kinds they are offering. But even if coffee is not your favorite drink Relaks still deserves to be visited because of their refreshing lemonade and the homemade finger-licking cakes.
Whether you want to have a coffee break, a tasty dinner with family, or drinks late at night with friends, Regeneracja will certainly guarantee an enjoyable time. The cosy atmosphere of it is probably what attracts so many locals who can not resist coming back here time and time again.
