This is a tiny street art project by Slinkachu. His brilliant slogan being: ‘Abandoning little people on the streets since 2006.’ Slinkachu is a street photographer from London who has been brightening the streets with his little figurines.
From hilarious scenes to inconspicuous settings, if you keep your eyes open you might be able to spot one of his creations. In his bio Slinkachu writes that he aims to encourage people to pay more attention to their surroundings.
“The street-based side of my work plays with the notion of surprise [...] The scenes I set up, more evident through the photography, and the titles I give these scenes aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humour. I want people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works.”
With the use of things he finds on the street, from litter to leaves, Slinkachu poses little ‘model-train-people’ for passersby to find and wonder about.
