Julia Heiligenbrunner, Vienna

An insight into the mind of Vienna Spotter, Julia Heiligenbrunner! We met Julia both in Vienna and in Amsterdam during the Spotters weekend last November (where she overloaded us with cool Vienna souvenirs!).

Julia was born and raised in one of Austria’s provinces. For as long as she can remember she was always writing things down. At around the age of 14, she’s not quite sure, she evolved from writing in her journal to really writing. As of yet, she hasn’t been published, but she credits Spotted by Locals as an excellent stepping stone to committing her thoughts to paper. › Show full article

Elin Reitehaug, Oslo

We interviewed Elin, one of our Spotters for the Oslo City blog. She describes herself as a “smiling girl with a great curiosity for all the things and people she doesn’t know yet.” Originally from the West of Norway, she’s been an Oslo local for 12 years now, moving to Oslo for her first job after completing her studies.

We had the pleasure of meeting Elin twice in Oslo, and on the Spotters meeting in November 2012 in Amsterdam!

Ajuni Burk, Zurich

This is an interview that Sanne held with Spotter for our Zurich city guide, Ajuni Burk. Another chance to learn more about one of our Spotters!

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Born and raised near Basel, I moved to Zurich at the age of 20 to study. As a teenager I discovered my love for Britain, which led me to spend a few years working in sunny Manchester after graduation.  You could say I’m proper Switish!

These days I’m back in Zurich, working in communications and enjoying (small-scale) urban life to the fullest. Last year I became a Spotter and look forward to discovering and sharing many more brilliant places in and around Zurich with you all. › Show full article
