I’m a Libra in the truest sense of the word: caring, often daydreaming, and generally even-tempered. It also means I’m incredibly indecisive, especially at restaurants. The best solution I’ve found? Order one of everything! I swear that Dali Restaurant and Tapas Bar was created just for me.
The ability to make a meal of as many tastes as I want is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my love for Dali. Walking into the restaurant feels like stepping into a 17th-century Catalan garden – charming, lush, and romantic. The romance is unsurprising, given that the owners have a novel-quality love story of their own.
Dali’s atmosphere was enough to draw me in the first time, but the food keeps me coming back. A spread of the gambas con gabardina (garlicky fried shrimp), gorditas (bacon-wrapped prunes with goat cheese), and chorizo a la plancha, topped off with a decanter of bubbly cava sangria, brings me right back to the term I spent in Barcelona, and can charm even the rainiest fall day in Boston.
