Tapeo – At the tapa’ my list

This is one of my absolute FAVORITE spots to eat out in Boston! Located on Newbury Street, in walking distance from both the Hynes and Copley MBTA stop, it’s easy to get to and close to a lot of Boylston Street bars if you’re in need of an after dinner drink. Or, of course, you could just stay at Tapeo to have a few of their delicious and innovative craft cocktails!

Tapeo can get pretty busy in the evenings, so if you forget to make a reservation be prepared for a decent line. However, their food is well worth the wait, especially if you’re a cheese aficionado like me: cheese crostini, baked cheese, fried goat cheese – if it’s decadent and cheesy, they most likely have it! Of course, Tapeo has a lot of lighter plates as well, including (to my delight!) a lot of vegetarian options. The star of their menu, the Paella, is huge, delicious, and perfect for sharing.

Tapeo is my go-to for any dinner situation – their concept of serving small, shared plates makes it ideal for a group dinner, while the beautiful interior and ambiance of the restaurant add the perfect amount of romance for a first date.
