Soupa Bistro – There’s always time for soup!

There are not many countries where soups are as popular as in Slovakia. Soup is an obligatory part of EVERY lunch. Still, you don’t need to be Slovak to enjoy a soup in the Soupa bistro. This tiny restaurant hidden on Kozia street provides a generous offer of 4 different soups every day. And these are not those boring ones – they’re very international, imaginative, always with an extra ingredient to surprise your taste buds. Just as an example – the history of soups at Soupa featured creations such as Mexican Chilli, African Peanut, Czech Kulajda, Ukrainian Borsch or German pea soup with beer. Plus, they are accompanied with a large menu of seconds updated every day. Not to mention the tempting desserts that are hard to avoid as you walk by…

The central location of Soupa Bistro allows you to visit it on the way down from the Bratislava castle. Or do it the other way round – start with a yummy Soupa breakfast to get the energy for climbing up the hill! Note that Soupa is open till 19:00, so the takeaway may save your day if your fridge is empty and you’re hungry on the way home from work 🙂
