There’s something you have to know about me: I like dresses and I hate to buy in those famous (and not really cheap) chains around the world…
This said, I want to keep my addresses secret in order to be sure that no other girl wears the same. A woman has to keep some mystery, isn’t it?
Anyway, today, and especially for you, I decided to break one of my numerous principles: “Never say where you find your nice clothes” (in the same list, you can find “never have a relationship at the office”, “never eat more than one chocolate a week”, “never have a girly discussions next to your boss”, but don’t count on me to let you know which ones I have already – or are on their way to be – broken).
When I have time AND money: I just love to go to this shop: Look 50.
The shop is a legendary second hand shop open since decades. Laura (the owner, and daughter of the first one) has a big stock of second hand vintage clothes for men and for women. She also started to sell some new clothes, that she chooses only in collection of young creators.
Having a small shop, you don’t find the same model in many exemplars. Then, if you find a nice one: don’t wait to buy it, you may never find it back!

Hello Biba,
Thank you for your comment! I understand what you mean… even if I disagree :-)
The fact is that, as said, this shop is open since decades… the new owner is the daughter of the former one.
I don’t think (but it’s my personal opinion) we can expect a shop to remain exactly the same with years: if we want it to continue its business some small changes are needed.
The vintage section still exists, but Laura is adding some collection of new clothes, and I do believe it’s a good idea.
And I still see the mess in the shop: it’s so small, so the mess is a part of it!
About the prices, I’ve notice that some clothes are expensive indeed, but most of the time I buy clothes for a price that I find ok, it’s possible to get dress with some funky clothes for not too much…
Example:
* Vintage: I’ve found a long dress for formal party or wedding, from the 60′s, a unique one. I’ve paid 60€, which can seems expensive but not if you see the material and the dress!!!
I remember that about 15 years ago, I have bought a skirt from the 70′s (hyppie style) for 1000 BEF, which is around 25€… and I found it very expensive at the time.. So it seems that the prices were already high… (but I still have the skirt!)
* New clothes: I find original dresses, nearly unique models (or not many of each) for not more than 50€/dress (sometimes cheaper).
So, of course some people may find 50€ an expensive price. Personnally, I don’t, so I’m happy with this shop
Sorry for this long comment not meant to change your mind but trying to give a wider overview about this place!
This shop has lost it’s charm in the past years, I used to love the mess in there and rummage through it, now it’s all nice and tidy and the prices are expensive for what it is.
Hello,
Thank you for your comment!
As I wrote on the article: the shop is quiet small. You don’t have much more room that what shown in the picture, but all walls are full of clothes (and shoes and accessories) all vintage, except a little section with new clothes.
is there a lot of vintage clothes selections? I’m a big fans of vintage style. anyway, I agree about what you’ve said that “A woman has to keep some mystery”.
