Summer is in the air, and this means good news for all fans of a combination of rollerskate fun and nice weather. Soon you can discover the centre of Brussels and the suburbs through a 20-35 km skate tour, accompanied by hundreds of enthusiasts in a vibrant atmosphere and led by a professional organization.
The police clears the road, so you are not disturbed by cars and trucks and an ambulance follows the parade to be able to provide help to the less fortunate, as fast as possible. In a separate group behind the inline skaters, skateboarders and cyclists are also welcome.
Pay attention, minimal skating skills (balance, stop) are required, also for the beginners loop. Each week you will find information about the route and a confirmation or cancellation announcement (useful for rainy days) on their Facebook page.
If you want to learn basic skating skills, you can take free lessons in July and August in the Bois de la Cambre (check the Bois de la Cambre article) organised by RouliRoula.
Let’s all pray for nice weather, and keep the skate wheel side down!
