When I’m looking for one of those many cafeterias where someone can bring a laptop, drink a latte with a pie or have a salad for lunch: I always somehow end up at Workshop Cafe. Even more now that it’s situated right in between my home and the College where I take courses.
I have told some of my classmates about it and now they’ve also adopted the place, more frequently after we had a small issue with the closest cafeteria to our school. This showed us how crucial it is to find the perfect spot when it comes to your laptop and coffee!
The venue is very big: most of the tables are in the back where you can disconnect from the real world and the city you’re in as there’s no view of the outside, while in the front and on the first floor you can enjoy a view of one of the biggest avenues of the city!
The seats are very comfortable as they have some couches and armchairs: a perfect spot when I want to have a little talk with a friend or for an afternoon date!
A small line about the staff: they’ve always been really friendly and super cool.
The art work on the walls is made by Denis Meyers, a local artist!
They have another smaller branch, near Porte de Namur (rue de Namur, 87 – 1000 Brussels). The seats on the first floor give an amazing view of the customers on the ground floor!
