Beraria Hanul cu Tei (translated as The Inn with the Linden Tree Beer House) is a beer house situated in one of the few remaining inns (The Linden Inn) of the many typical inns Bucharest used to have in the old times. The Linden Inn was built in 1833 and at the moment houses an art gallery, a restaurant and this beer house.
Hanul cu Tei Beer House is the perfect spot to have a traditional Romanian lunch, enjoy a football game on TV with a good beer or just listen to the live music that’s usually performed during weekends. It’s the place to enjoy a night out with your friends around one of the big barrel tables they have.
I like the fact that they have an ‘all you can eat’ policy for lunch and for a pretty decent amount of money you get to eat a lot of delicious traditional Romanian dishes, that I am usually too lazy to cook on my own at home because they usually take a lot of time.
