I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’m always looking for the really good snacks/fast food places in every city I visit just in case I’m lost and starving. Kidding, that almost never happens. But when you’re sightseeing it’s good to know a few places you can rest your feet, grab a quick bite and a cold drink without overspending.
Borsalino Focacceria can be just that kind of place for you. It’s very close to the Old City, in Unirii Square, so if you’ve already got blisters on your feet you don’t need to go too far. It looks very inviting with its minimalist and natural design and the most important part: it makes great pizza for only 6 lei a slice. And they only use natural, Italian ingredients which always makes me feel less guilty about eating pizza.
Of course, I won’t lie to you. There is a possibility that once you’re there you won’t get the pizza slice. You might get two paninis, try some piadinas and spot the cannoli….my god, don’t even get me started on the creamy delicious cannoli. But you know what they say: when in Rome…Same thing in Bucharest.
