Absolutely Fabulous Fashion & Vintage Fair is one of my favourite fashion fairs in Bucharest organized by two Romanian fashion bloggers that I really like, Diana Enciu & Alina Tanasa. The fair is always a great experience because not only do you get to see the latest collections of the young Romanian designers and a lot of amazing and unique vintage pieces, but also all the Bucharest fashion bloggers in one place. It’s not only a place to experience clothes & accessories, but also many beautiful people sharing their common passion, fashion.

I would say this is the place to check out the Bucharest street fashion. So if you’re in Bucharest when an Absolutely Fabulous Fashion & Vintage Fair takes place, make sure you check it out, as the fair takes place approximately every month.

The next vintage fair edition will take place on the 22nd – 23rd of June at the French Institute, when friendship and shopping are all that matter. This year the fair has a friendship theme and this edition is focused on sisters.

The National Arena opened in September 2011, replacing the former Lia Manoliu Stadium. It was constructed especially for the Romania National Football Team but it also hosts European games for two rival teams from Bucharest, Steaua and Dinamo. With a capacity of over 55.000 seats the National Arena found another purpose in hosting great shows and concerts: Red Hot Chili Peppers had a concert in this location in August 2012.

I really enjoy watching football and since I found out that the former national stadium is being demolished, I couldn’t wait to see what the final new construction would look like. It is a beautiful building, and even if the number of seats is high, due to its vertical rising the atmopshere created is fantastic, all the spectators are close to the pitch. The best moment to visit this stadium has to be at an international game. The spectators that come to support the national teams are well behaved, friendly and the tickets are more than affordable.

The last event I saw at this Stadium was the game between Romania and Andorra. The teams were great, the public sang and chanted, and finally…my favorites won!
