I enjoy and respect Romanian brands, and when someone close asks me for directions to a good restaurant I am easily caught between recommending a place of Romanian or foreign style. There are so many places to visit so I have to choose one that also has different museums and monuments around.
In Bucharest, the Old Town gives you a historical background on your way to a good, traditional restaurant and this is why I recommend it so often. City Grill Lipscani is the spot I chose for this article but you have to keep in mind that this chain of restaurants has two more buildings under the same name.
City Grill Lipscani is simple but gives away the impression of an expensive restaurant. In a few words, it does not offer much besides great food, affordable prices and friendly service. So if you find yourself in Bucharest and want the authentic experience, take a slow walk in the Old Town and stop at City Grill for Romanian tradition.
