If you’re in the mood for modern art & also for a place where cool and vintage atmospheres blend, then you have to go to Imbold, Galeria. The gallery is situated at the ground floor of a house and it’s full of surprising decorative details: from lamps made out of buckets, to vintage suitcases, a megaphone, old coloured iMacs, wooden tables with coloured chairs, old milk bottles… and the list can go on forever. At the first floor you have the Acuarela bar and since it’s summer their cozy terrace is open, which is definitely worth trying out.
Imbold, Galeria consists of 4 rooms: the main one where you have the reception, but also a metal ballerina and a bicycle (of course amongst other stuff). To the left there is a room where you can admire the exhibition: paintings, sculptures, industrial design, motion video and illustrations. To the right of the main room are two smaller rooms with brick walls with a view over the courtyard. Of course, the bathroom was not left undecorated. It’s in the same style – I’ll just tell you that the sink is a reused metal bucket.
