‘Simbio’ has found a new location. Simbio was previously located in the Old City Center and now they have a much bigger place away from the crowded center. The house which hosts ‘Simbio’ is very old and has an interesting story (how else could it be?).
Restoration of the place started in Spring 2014. Now the place is fully functional and offers two floors, for smokers and non-smokers. I like both of them but as a non-smoker I prefer the ground floor to the underground floor. Each has a separate entrance. The non-smoking area also has a show-kitchen, which is nice for some of us, including myself.
I was first invited to Simbio by a very dear friend of mine, Ioana, who was involved as an architect in the restoration of the centenary house. We went for lunch on a sunny Sunday. I had ‘Burger One’ and it was good. I ate it all even though I wasn’t hungry. I like and recommend the place for atmosphere, location and food. They promise to open the terrace as soon as it gets warmer and also another floor. I’m looking forward to the terrace and I shall write about it as soon as possible.
