I don’t know about you, but I’m always in the mood for soup, no matter the season or the time of day.
I first discovered the concept of a soup bar in Amsterdam and I’d been hoping to see it take shape in Bucharest ever since as well. And it did.
So, Soup Up is a premium soup bar in Piața Amzei (and not only) that serves both soups and salads. The place has over 50 recipes it introduces in turns in its daily menu, also adapting the picks to the current season.
No artificial additives are used and all the ingredients are chosen with great care. The salads are high in proteins and there are various types of special croûtons to choose from, to serve with the soups. My favorites are the sun-dried tomatoes ones.
You can get a soup + salad of your choice menu for a reasonable price, take away or to enjoy inside (the place offers three seats by the window). Plus, everything is meatless, most of the products are vegan, some are raw and there’s also a small selection of raw desserts.
So, soup it is, right?
