Who here likes ice cream in winter? I’m waving both my arms like crazy right now. And since most gelato places close in October you can understand why I was so happy to ditch the supermarket leftover ice cream and enjoy a cup of “semifreddo” at the newly opened The Harp Bakery.
It’s conveniently located in Unirii Square, on my way home and on every tourist’s way. It’s small, cozy and quiet. They make their own cakes and ice cream and vary them daily, that’s why you won’t find the desserts on the menu, but will gawk…I mean choose…at the counter.
If you can’t go right for dessert (you really should, though, just saying) you can start with a quiche or sandwich and even pizza. And then get to the really important stuff: pistachio semifreddo, with a honey glazed roasted nuts middle.
Got to go, I’m late for ice cream time.
