My new discovery: Victoriei 18! In the middle of the city, opened in a location with a long history closely linked to fashion, it brings together tastefully prepared meals and a nice interior which is focused on collections of Romanian designers.
The atmosphere is very cozy and chic at the same time. I was impressed not only by the food (try the pancakes with salmon, prepared in the oven), but also by the style of the restaurant: with handmade decorated chairs and interesting wall decorations.
I loved the decoration, it is very cleverly shaped, which overlaps specific fashion accessories (hangers, wire letters announcing promotions and news) with parts of fine blended yarn & textile.
The result is a bright space, welcoming with touches of color, light and shadow: the perfect place for those looking for good food, delicious coffee and pleasant local design events and exhibitions.
Victoria 18 has both Romanian cuisine and international dishes, you can choose from a wide range of salads, soups, pizzas, pancakes and many other dishes. The soup prices vary between 12-19 lei, salads: 15-26 lei, vegetarian dishes: 19-22 lei and desserts: 11-16 lei.
